Local image viewing

Sorted Image Viewer reads images from folders you choose. This release has no account, application backend, photo upload, or analytics feature. The viewer does not send your selected images, filenames, folder paths, or captured-date metadata to an application server. It does not edit or delete your original files.

Android and iOS file access

Android uses all-files access for its in-app shared-storage folder browser. This permission is broader than image-only access; the viewer uses it to browse folders and read images. System-protected locations and other apps’ private storage remain restricted. You can revoke access in Android settings; folder browsing and resume may then stop working.

iOS uses scoped access to folders selected through Files, with saved access references for later sessions. External Open depends on the grant supplied by the sending app. Only images directly inside the selected folder are displayed, without recursive image scanning.

An OS file provider may download a selected file or contact its own service, including a cloud service. Those provider connections are separate from the viewer’s local handling and follow the provider’s policies and your device settings. This app does not provide cloud synchronization.

State saved on your device

The app saves folder access references, the current image and reading position, sorting, and reading preferences to resume a session. Access depends on OS permissions and valid file references. Moving files, revoking access, or reinstalling can prevent restoration. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can remove local state without deleting source images. OS backups and file-provider copies follow system and provider settings.

Advertising and analytics in this release

Advertising is disabled in version 1.0.0 (4). The app does not request or show ads in this release. The bundled Google Mobile Ads integration returns before startup when ads are disabled; platform measurement initialization is delayed. The final Android APK has no advertising-ID permission. No analytics feature was added. These release settings do not constitute a guarantee about all OS or third-party provider network activity.

A future build that enables ads requires revised privacy disclosures, verified publisher details and SDK data practices, and a new release review before distribution. Advertising behavior described for other builds does not apply to this release.

Support email

If you choose to email admin@tricorn.app, your own mail client sends the message. Your and our email providers handle delivery and storage; Tricorn LLC receives the address and message you send to respond to your request. There is no in-app support upload form or automatic attachment of images or folder state.

Send only the app version, OS, device model, file format, reproduction steps, and error category. Do not send personal images, private filenames, full paths, or exported folders. If a sample is necessary, create a synthetic image without personal metadata.

Retention and privacy requests

Local state remains subject to app and OS storage controls. Support correspondence follows the handling of the support mailbox and email providers; this policy does not promise a fixed retention period or deletion from provider backups. Contact admin@tricorn.app with questions or a request to access, correct, or delete support correspondence. Handling and any applicable rights depend on the request and applicable requirements; no account-deletion workflow exists because the app has no accounts.

Service providers, processing locations, and security

Email and OS file-provider processing locations and retention depend on the services you use. No claim is made here about a particular processing country or international transfer safeguard. File access is governed by OS permissions. Keep device access protected and share only the minimum information needed for support. No absolute security or provider encryption guarantee is made.

Age and audience

This release has no account age field or child-directed advertising. Store age ratings are separate store declarations. Avoid including children’s personal information or images in support messages.

Support website

This static site has no ads, analytics, external fonts, tracking scripts, or support submission form. A local file preview does not contact a host. Once published, the selected host may process IP addresses and request logs; the hosting provider, processing locations, and retention must be reviewed before public publication. Following an external link or sending email uses the relevant service’s own practices.
